On October 13th the Gardner Masonic Lodge teamed up with the Wellsville Fire Dept., to install smoke and Co2 combo detectors free of charge. During this event 37 smoke detectors were installed, replacing missing and or non working detectors. The current Master of Gardner lodge, being a career fire fighter himself knows first hand the importance a dependable working detector holds. And no better timing for this even than October as it is National Fire Prevention Month.
This is one of the lodges attempts to keep the area of Wellsville, Ks connected with the lodge. Wellsville Masonic Lodge merged with Gardner Lodge several years back.
